Life Insurance
Life insurance is available to anyone who has a Louisiana Ag Credit loan. Our insurance products are designed to give you an excellent value for your insurance dollar. Credit life insurance pays the outstanding debt amount, up to the policy limit for short and intermediate term loans. We also offer term life insurance for our customers who desire $75,000 or more coverage at competitive prices, guaranteed renewable and with continued coverage after your Ag Credit loan is paid in full. Crop Insurance
Crop insurance is highly recommended as a way to help borrowers meet their financial obligations in the event that income is interrupted by natural circumstances. Louisiana Ag Credit offers two types of crop insurance:

Multi-Peril Crop Insurance
Insures crops against loss due to adverse weather (including hail and wind), fire, insects, wildlife, earthquake, plant disease, volcanic eruption and failure of irrigation water supply. Multiple levels of coverage allow you to match your coverage and cost to the level of risk with which you are comfortable.

Crop Hail Insurance
Insures crops against loss due to hail, fire, lightning and transit. Insurance can be purchased any time prior to harvest, allowing the producer to determine the quality of the crop before insuring it. The premium can be paid after harvest, when cash flow is typically the greatest.
